The most cost-effective foundation systems often requires inducing different soil improvement treatments that take into account the variety of soil properties and load conditions.

The most frequent challenges are:
- support of heavy and uniform loads (water, oil, gas storage) and isolated loads (industrial, infrastructures, pipe-racks)
- reduction of total and differential settlements under acceptable limits

Objectives :
- Provide bearing capacity of up to 20 t/m2
- Allowable isolated loads of up to 300 t
- Reduce differential settlements to around 1/1000
