There is a wide range of soil improvement methods prescribed by MENARD. They are fully adapted to the most stringent structural requirements. These technologies were systematically developed for or adapted to all soil depths and conditions. The following diagrams illustrate the selection of a soil treatment procedure as a function of structure soil types.

MENARD soil improvement technologies comprise two basic options : improvement with or without additional material. Improvement without additional material : For sandy soils densification is achieved by means of compaction or vibratory methods. For clayey soils, consolidation by pre-loading can be significantly accelerated through the use of a drainage system. Improvement with additional materials : A network of vertical inclusions, rigid or semi-rigid columns, are installed in the compressible soil layers. Whether granular or cement-base grout, added material is a durable substance.
